Exclusive insights: How Delphin Hotels are boosting their performance

Delphin Hotels & Resorts Group: A renowned hotel chain from Turkey

The hotel chain's seven 5-star hotels are located directly on the beach in the resorts of Okurcalar near Alanya and Lara, a suburb of Antalya. Numerous awards prove the quality of the hotels: TUI Top Quality, TUI Environmental Champion, TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice, HolidayCheck Top Lists, Fortune 500 rankings (2018–2022). These high standards are achieved through decades of experience, high customer satisfaction and well-trained hotel staff. 

The challenge: Increase booking numbers without intrusive advertising 

The aim of the collaboration with HolidayCheck was to increase booking numbers – but not exclusively through traditional advertising. This was important because the hotel brand did not want to be perceived negatively by potential guests as a hotel that advertises heavily. Another challenge of the project was that initial concerns were raised about the negative impact on the average daily rate (ADR). 

The solution: a combination of HolidayCheck display ads and vouchers

More specifically, this means: a CPO deal with voucher incentives and accompanying native banners. This achieved the following: 

  • Creating booking incentives despite high prices
  • Targeted acquisition of potential guests from competitors and generation of a competitive advantage by placing above all competitors in the hotel list
  • Avoid scatter losses

Conclusion

The approach taken by Delphins Hotel & Resort Group and the resulting outcomes demonstrate that a combination of vouchers and display ads can lead to strong performance. Another positive aspect is that concerns about ADR were mitigated by the sharp increase in bookings.
